CEPSI 2012

Nexans is proud to participate in CEPSI 2012, the 19th Conference on Electric Power Supply Industry. This is a bi-annual conference and exhibition relating to the development of the electricity industry in the region. The exhibition and conference was held at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Indonesia, from 15 – 19 Oct 2012.

A range of Nexans’ cable solutions and services for energy network, accessories for power cables and introduction of Nexans’ new acquisition, Shandong Yanggu New Rihui Cable Co. Ltd were presented and displayed at our booth to promote our Nexans’ offer for cable solutions for energy network.

During the opening of the show, we are honored to have the Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Ir. Jeron Wacik, S.E., visiting Nexans booth.

Nexans also participated in the conference where Nexans speakers, Frank Claeys, Ken Barber and Mark Stemmle made presentations on ‘Cold Shrink technology and Screwed Connectors’, ‘Worlds first Superconducting Cable and Fault Current limiter Installation in a city centre’, ‘Fire Safety Cabling in Clean Energy Power Plants’ and ‘New Generation of Bushings for MV cable connections’.
 
Nexans is the only cable company with direct presence in the exhibition. Our booth was visited by power supply companies, manufacturers and contractors from the region. Through this event, Nexans has gained exposure as an organization with offers for turnkey cable solutions, ensuring the reliability of energy network in the region.
 
We look forward to participating in the next CEPSI conference and exhibition, planned to be held in Korea 2014.
